Quality of life also accounts for the recreational, social, and cultural options people have outside of the workplace and key services such as health care and public safety. Although quality of life is defined differently for each individual, communities must recognize its advantages and disadvantages to understand how they can help provide a quality of life that will attract and retain workers.
