Greenway Medical Technologies expands existing Carrollton facilities, invests $12 million

September 29, 2011 - Office of Governor Nathan Deal Gov. Nathan Deal announced today that Carroll County-based Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc. will expand its corporate headquarters in Carrollton.
This expansion will allow Greenway Medical Technologies to add 400 new jobs over three years and create an additional $12 million in new capital investment to Georgia’s medical and healthcare sectors. Greenway Medical Technologies specializes in advanced health information technology software and on-demand physician services.
“Greenway Medical’s decision to make this investment strengthens Georgia’s position in the health IT sector,” Deal said. “Our state is home to some of the nation’s top health IT firms, with Greenway Medical Technologies among them. Georgia's Newest "High Tech" Business Destination
The Carroll County Business/Technology Park is a 116 acre mix use property located on the Carrollton by-pass in Carroll County. The park was created to attract targeted industry clusters in the Software, IT, Life Science, Research and Development and Corporate Transaction Service sectors. The Park exists via an intergovernmental partnership between Carroll County Government and The City of Carrollton. In partnership with the Carroll County Development Authority and Carroll Tomorrow, the Park will be available for use in the fall of 2011 with sites in the 2-15 acre range.
